Boobook Hill is a small scale certified organic farm situated on the edge of the escarpment above Araluen on the lands of the Yuin Nation. We, Francis and Beattie grow seasonal vegetables on a 1 acre plot within a 18 acre property consisting of native forest. We believe in  growing fresh and tasty local food, sustainability and maintaining soil health and a balance on the land between nature and farming. We tend our soils through green manures, crop rotation, compost and organic principles. The name of the farm is taken from the boobook owl found across Australia and on our farm.
